This is Veterans Park in River Edge with the sign displayed in stones on the ground with the Walter Scott Brown Veterans Post Building behind it. The Post Building is no longer owned by the American Legion and/or the VFW.
It is in a transiton to the towns use in the future.

This Plaque sits at the base of the flag pole in River Edge Veterans Park

According to records, many areas during the 1890’s of what was part of Hackensack at the time separated into boroughs.  There were 26 boroughs established in Bergen County in 1894.
